Directions:
Reduce congestion, please set off for the Festival early and
allow time for parking etc (gates open at 1.30pm).

Please
follow the comprehensive Peel Bay Festival road signage
that will direct you along the best route from every direction.

Parking:
Car and Bike Parking will be in surrounding fields and will
be in easy walking distance of the Festival Site. The following
charges will be payable for those who book in advance
(to speed the flow of traffic into the parking areas please
ensure you have the correct money available - cash only):
Motorbikes: £1.00
Cars: £3.00 Campervans: £5.00
Mini Buses: £10.00
Charges if you have not pre-booked are £2 for motorbikes
and £5 for cars.

Public Transport:
Reduce congestion, travel by public transport where possible.
Protours will run two
70 seater coaches leaving Douglas at 16:30 and returning
at 23:30 from the Festival site. Price £3 per person
each way. Pre-book by phoning 674301.

Public transport buses will run as follows:
On 1st June: 6pm from Port Erin to Peel, returning at 11:30pm.
All other nights Peel to Douglas from 23:20 onwards. Last
bus to Douglas will be 00:15 (except Weds 30th).

Tickets Types
1) VIP - Reserved Gold Seats in front of
the stage, please see the Seating and Standing Plan, VIP
Parking (one space per transaction), No Queuing Entrance,
Luxury VIP Marquee, Champagne Reception, Teas and Cafetiere Coffee, Souvenir
Programme, Interval drink and After Show Hospitality in the VIP Marquee
2)
Gold Seats - Uninterrupted views of the stage, please see the Seating
and Standing Plan.
3) Silver Seats - Side seating with some
interrupted views of the stage, please see the Seating and Standing Plan. Please
note some seats will have views through the King Post Lattice Poles. These
poles comprise a solid round pole approximately 300mm wide up to approximately
1800mm high. Above that it opens up into a lattice post which is approximately
550mm wide made up of smaller individual poles approximately 65mm wide in a
lattice style.
4) Standing - From approximately the middle of the Marquee
to the rear. The same principle applies as for the Silver Seat. Please see
the Seating and Standing Plan. This is treated on a ‘first come’ basis
as no space can be reserved.
5) Disabled - There are raised platforms behind both Silver Seating
Areas, please see the Seating and Standing Plan.
6) Concessions - There is
a 20% discount off all ticket prices in the Silver Seating and Standing only
for children up to 16 years old and Senior Citizens. Proof of age must be produced
on entry unless it is obvious.

Ticket Booking Line and Opening Hours:
Our Booking Line number is 01624 841234. Lines are open between 10:00 and 16:00
Monday to Friday. There is also a 24 hour answer phone service; all messages
will be acted upon as long as a clear message is left with a daytime phone
number.

There is a booking fee of £3.75 per booking transaction for postal to
any U.K. address irrespective of how many tickets (maximum of 20) are ordered
on each booking transaction. For any address outside of the U.K. there will
be a booking fee of £6.50. If required by Registered Post there would
be an additional £4.50 per booking transaction.

On site Ticket Office Hours:
Open from 26th May 2007 between 10:00 and 18:00 Days of Performances
between 10:00 and Midnight

Box Office Collection Accepted:
On-site collection is available between the hours stated
above from the Ticket Office. The cardholder must take the
credit card that the tickets were booked with and the reference
number. The cardholder's signature is also required before
the tickets will be released. Letters of authorisation and
photocopies of the credit card will not be accepted.

Accessible Seating:
Disabled people are very welcome and there is disabled access.
There are Wheelchair viewing facilities. Disabled toilets
are available on-site. Please note that registered disabled
persons must be accompanied by a carer.

General Rules:
Only tickets purchased from authorised agents will be accepted.
Tickets purchased from other sources will be refused admission.

Refunds/Complaints/Compliments
Due to the high cost of setting up this Festival there is
a no refund policy other than 50% for cancellation. Any
complaints or compliments should be sent in writing to
John Shakespeare, Event Manager, Peel Bay Festival, Unit
1 Mill Road, Peel, Isle of Man IM5 1TA. There is also a
facility for making complaints using feedback forms onsite
at the Ticket Office.

Confiscated Items
No responsibility is given for the safe return of confiscated
property. Anyone wanting to claim back confiscated property
at the end of the festival should contact the Ticket Office
before midnight or write to Lost Property, Peel Bay Festival,
Unit 1 Mill Road, Peel, Isle of Man IM5 1TA.

Running
Order Changes
Any changes to the running order are passed on to the Event
Manager and will be announced over the PA system.

Drugs:
The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned
by the Peel Bay Festival. It is illegal to take, to buy
or to sell drugs. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable
on site as anywhere else on the Island. If you deal in
drugs, it is likely that you will be arrested via security
and handed over to the Manx Constabulary. There will be
covert police and security onsite backed up by CCTV who
will take action as appropriate. Neither anti-social nor
illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will
leave themselves liable for eviction from the site. Experimenting
with drugs can lead to adverse reactions. Drugs can kill.
The crowds and the sheer size of the Festival can be frightening
and disorientating and taking drugs could spoil your enjoyment
of the event. If you have taken drugs and you become ill,
depressed or frightened please ask a Steward to direct
you to the Welfare Area, which will have the necessary
staff who can help and support you.Smoking Policy
Please note there is strictly no smoking allowed inside
the Marquee which will be rigorously enforced. If you wish
to smoke you can do so under the external canopy or in
most places outside.

Food/Catering:
Food for personal consumption only may be brought into
the arena. There are plenty of outlets on site selling
food & drink.
No alcohol / drinks bottles / glass bottles / cans / illegal
substances to be brought into the arena.

Miscellaneous:
Keep Safe at the Peel Bay Festival:

Crime:
Avoid it! Keep your money, credit cards and belongings
to a minimum. Be vigilant. Keep an eye on your belongings.
Report any crime to a Steward/ Security guard or to the
Public Police Point

Emergencies
In an Emergency please contact the nearest member of Security
or Steward for help.
There is an onsite professional Fire Safety Officer and
Stewards who are equipped to deal with fires. There are
fire extinguishers located throughout the site and many
of the Stewards and Security Staff have been trained in
fire safety and First Aid.

There are medics onsite who are fully equipped to deal with
all situations. They are located at the Welfare Area. The
medics also have roving patrols and provide an Accident and
Emergency facility and GP facilities.

There is an onsite Police
Station staffed by the Isle of Man Constabulary throughout
each evening of performance.

Welfare
The Welfare Area is open from the time the gates open until
midnight on each day of a performance. The Welfare Area
also offers a recovery area for patients.

Information
Office
Information is available from the Ticket Office and is
open from 10am to midnight on the day of the performances.
The Ticket Office sells tickets (subject to availability)
and posts the latest information concerning running orders
and the latest news. It also displays information concerning
local transport services etc. Lost Children/People
Lost children are looked after by the Welfare team and
all relevant agencies are contacted.
Lost people should go to the Welfare Area

Onsite Facilities:

Bars
Subject to licence approval there will be a large bar area
for beer and separate booths for spirits and wine. Also
there will be booths selling bottles of water.
All will be purchased by token only. There are Token Booths
located in various areas. One token can be exchanged for
one alcholoic drink or three soft drinks. All will be
cash only.

Bar staff will ask for proof of age ID whenever
the customer appears to be under 18. The proof of age will
need to be evidenced by a Portman Proof of Age Card, Citizen
Card, valid UK card or by a full or provisional photo card
driving licence issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing
Authority or by a passport. If there is any doubt as to the
age of the customer they will be refused service. The onus
is on the individual to demonstrate unequivocally that they
are 18 years old or over and if the individual cannot do
so they will not be served.

Food Stalls
There are food stalls selling a variety of food from burgers
to baguettes.

Toilets
There are adequate number of toilet blocks in and around
the arena as well as disabled facilities.

Litter
Please help keep the Peel Bay Festival tidy by cleaning
up after yourself, using the Litter Drop Points. Please
don’t
drop rubbish; there are plenty of bins onsite.

Souvenir
Programmes
Programmes are available from programme sellers situated
throughout the site.

Merchandise
There will be official Peel Bay Festival merchandise available
for sale inside the main Marquee.
